Sometimes it’s the attention to detail that turns a good design into a great one. The gauges that can be seen in the menu on theflightplan.com.au are only 45 pixels high in their final use. I’ve presented them above at the size I created them to show the detail that has gone into their development.
The result of creating a high resolution original and scaling it down is a much more believable and realistic icon than if they had been created at the small size originally.
